Unleash the guitar hero inside you!

O.K – i have a confession to make.

I’m a bit of a learning junky.

I don’t mean i really love learning (i do!).

I mean I’m actually a bit of  a MAJOR nerd when it comes to how we learn, as in everything that happens in the brain and the body when we are in the process of learning something new.

In future posts I’m going to go into a lot more detail – especially when it comes to practice techniques and the most efficient ways of getting all that info stored in that noggin of yours and your fingers too!

But for the moment, I thought we’d better start off with the basics.

And what better time than when you are Guitar beginner?

So what’s it all about then eh?

It can be pretty daunting when you first learn the guitar, there are so many things you have to learn at the same time – different fingering with each hand, couting the beat, reading guitar tabs, remembering chords and their positions, the music it’s self – i mean MAN that’s a lot to take in.

The article goes into basic detail on what’s happening in the brain when this is all happening, and offers some hints and tips on how you can speed up this process.

A disclaimer:  I’ve already warned you that I’m a bit of  a nerd about this kind of stuff right?  Well the article goes into a few techniques and concepts that are Very Very Powerful, even though they may seem a little silly, or even out there, please bear in mind that the techniques are scientifically proven to work – LIKE GANBUSTERS!
So why not give them a try? You won’t lose anything if they don’t work… but if they do -

..Well lets just say you’ll never look back.

Above all, if your finding learning the guitar a little more difficult than you thought it would be, take heart and don’t give up… because the start is ALWAYS the hardest!
