How to Play the G Chord on Guitar
Learning the G Chord on the guitar is our video guitar lesson for today.
First, place your 1st finger on the 5th string on the 2nd fret, then place your 2nd finger on the 6th string 3rd fret, and finally place your 3rd finger on the 1st string 3rd fret. Hold down firmly and strum all 6 strings.
Once you get the G chord down with sounding clear, then practice changing chords from the G to the other chords you should already know, C, F, and G7. Don’t practice in any certain order, mix them up.
Also, practice changing from the C chord to the G chord to get ready to play your first song in the next lesson.
See you in the next lesson!
