Best Beginner Guitar Lessons Kickstarter Course – Lesson #11 – Chord Family – G-C-D
Glad to have you back.
I’m going to take that idea of chord families and ramp it up a notch, and add the C chord to it.
Practicing on 1-4-5 in the Key Of C
Here’s a chord family for the C chord. I’ll start on C then we go G and D. I’ll use those three chords. The one chord, that is the G here. G, A, B, C is the four chord and after C comes D, the five chord. Chord family for G. Go to C and to D and to G.
Now Let’s Play These Together
Are you ready, G, C, go into D, G, G, C, D, G. Now, let’s do the chord family for A. Are you ready, A, D, E, A. Do D, like we did before. D, G, A7, D. Ready, D, G, A7, and D. Good. Fantastic, so that’s it for this Kickstarter video tutorial.
There are so many easy guitar songs you can play with these chords that I’ve taught you so far.
I look forward to seeing you in my next video guitar lesson.
Take care and keep practicing.
